A Tier 2 Behavior Plan includes data-driven, small-group or individualized interventions, alongside increased adult support, feedback, and positive reinforcement to prevent escalating social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. 

This plan includes interventions that go beyond universal supports (Tier 1). It targets students who are deemed at risk of developing more serious behavior problems and challenges – with the goal of preventing it.

The Tier 2 Behavior Plan is completed in the SSS tab within the student's FOCUS portal. If you are not familiar with how to navigate FOCUS SSS, you can access a FOCUS SSS Guide under "Related Resources" on the BEST homepage.
