How do I become a Take Stock Scholar?

Complete an online application.
- Select Escambia County and press NEXT.
- Both student AND parent/guardian must complete personal statements. Make sure they’re written by you — we want the real you, not AI!
- Submit your most recent tax return.
What commitment do Take Stock scholars make?
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA
- Meet with their mentor 30-45 minutes during the school day each week; minimum 15 sessions per school year
- Stay in communication with their mentor and College Readiness Coach throughout the school year.
- Participate in required program events
- Stay on track academically

My goals for after high school are to become a doctor of some sort.

My favorite subject is math because it’s easy to me.
Q: What’s your favorite hobby or activity outside of school?
My favorite hobby outside of school is softball.
Khale is our Scholar of the Month. She currently earned all As last quarter. We are proud to celebrate her hard work and dedication!
