Program Support
Your donation to Program Support sustains the day-to-day operations that make mentoring and scholarships possible — mentor recruitment & training, student workshops, tracking & reporting, and more.
What is Student Aid for Emergencies?
Student Aid for Emergencies (SAFE) is a one-time emergency purchase for a student whose school-related need would otherwise hinder their progress (including college students). All requests are reviewed and must be approved by our Emergency Fund Committee.
Example: A college student’s financial aid covers tuition and fees, but they still need a $250 textbook to remain enrolled in a course.
When you give to Program Support, you can select Student Aid as your designation on the donation form.

Your contribution helps fund:
- Local staff who coordinate mentors, students, and college planning
- Mentor recruitment, training, and ongoing support
- Student tracking, reporting, and scholarship management
- Community outreach and partnership development
- Program supplies, communications, and technology tools
- Workshops & special events to enhance classroom learning and life skills

A $10,000 scholarship donation includes program support and helps ensure a student receives the
guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to achieve their dreams.
