Automated Calls and Text Messages

Focus now has the ability to send call-outs and text messages, in addition to the existing email notifications sent to families. This enhancement helps ensure you never miss an important update—whether it’s from your child’s teacher, their school, or the district.

This new feature is designed to enhance our current communication methods, not replace them.

To receive messages, you must:

• Have an active Focus Parent Portal Account
   
• Have a valid phone number on file
   
• Be listed as a custodial contact

If you need to update your phone number, please contact your child’s school.

Opting Out of Text Messages
If you prefer not to receive text messages from Focus, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive.

Message and Data Rates May Apply
The Escambia County School District does not cover any text messaging fees that may be charged by your wireless carrier. Please check with your carrier for details.
