All ECPS Employees are to be evaluated on one of the following plans: 

  1. Instructional Personnel 
  2. ESPE - Educational Staff Professionals
  3. EPE - Professional Personnel
  4. ELA - School Principals & Assistant Principals
  5. ELA-D - District C&I Leaders
  6. EAE - District Leadership & Executive Staff

2024-2025 Evaluation Plans & Timelines


1. Instructional Evaluation Resources

 ALL Instructional Personnel will be evaluated using the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPs). If an instructional employee is not a "Traditional" Classroom teacher, it is up to the Evaluator and the Employee to mutually agree on the best interpretation of the FEAPs to be applied to that employee's assigned duties.

ALL School-based Administrators will be evaluated using the Florida Educational Leadership Standards (FELS). There are 8 Standards with 50 descriptors to be rated.

6. EAE Escambia Administrator Evaluation 

Statutes & State Board Rules Related to Employee Appraisals

The statute on Performance Pay and on the Evaluation System requirements are defined in Florida Statute 1012.34. The disaggregation by teacher begins with Florida Statute 1012.01.
