Supporting Our Students: Mental Health Services & Support
A student’s emotional and mental well-being is directly tied to their success in the classroom and beyond. The Mental Health Department provides a network of on-campus support designed to help students navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive. Committed to student success, our mental health counselors provide accessible and empathetic support to empower every individual with the resources necessary for personal and academic growth.
Available Mental Health Services
Our district utilizes a multi-tiered system of support to meet the diverse needs of our student body. Services available within the district include:
-
School-Based Counseling: Short-term individual and group counseling provided by school counselors and mental health counselors to help students navigate daily challenges.
-
Crisis Intervention & Safety Planning: Immediate support and assessment for students experiencing acute emotional or mental health distress.
-
Resiliency Education: Our resiliency curriculum is built around key characteristics designed to help students adapt, persevere, and thrive both in and out of the classroom
-
Community Resources & Care Coordination: Connecting families with external, long-term therapeutic resources and community clinics.
