School Crisis Resources
In events such as the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, this is an opportunity for our schools to take the time to review safety procedures and protocol. By being proactive in maintaining a safe learning environment, together we will continue to "create a school district where parents want to send their children, students want to learn, teachers want to teach and employees want to work."

Recognizing crisis reactions in children at different age levels. Also, how to recognize post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in children.
Risk factors for trauma reaction. These are the risk factors for students who are at risk for more extreme reactions to crisis.
