ReadyKids! Is pleased to announce three free “Kindergarten, Here We Come!” workshops for Escambia County families with children who will be entering kindergarten in fall 2023. 

The workshops are designed for children who have not previously attended an early learning program and their parents/caregivers. The goal of the workshops is two-fold: To introduce parents/caregivers to the concept of school readiness and equip them to best support their child’s transition to kindergarten, and to introduce children to a formal early education setting to help prepare them for their first day of kindergarten. 

Workshop details: 

Each workshop will be hosted at Global Learning Academy, located at 100 N P St, Pensacola, FL 32505. The workshops are open to all children entering kindergarten this fall regardless of where they will be attending school. 

• Saturday June 10, 2023: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

• Tuesday June 13, 2023: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. 

• Wednesday June 14, 2023: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Concurrent workshop offered in Spanish)

Childcare for siblings will be offered, food will be served, each adult will receive a $10 Wal-Mart gift card for attending, and families who register to attend will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 Amazon gift card. Transportation will be available as needed.
