    Preparing for a Successful Career

Career education is a comprehensive study program with structured career paths leading to continuous education beyond high school and to life-long learning. This process begins in elementary school with career awareness activities that enhance the student's understanding of self, career options, and the role of technology. It continues in the middle with career and technical exploratory classes which help students develop long-range plans for the high school and post secondary years. High school students are provided the opportunity to participate in a variety of career and technical programs of study. This continuous process prepares a student after high school to attend a university, community college, or vocational technician training center and/or technical college. It prepares a student for entry into any career field. Please refer to your guidance counselor for updated information.
