Military Family

  • Global Learning Academy is a Pre-K through 5th grade public school eager to serve students in our military community. Prospective families are invited to visit and experience the enriching, safe, and inclusive learning environment GLA has to offer. Principal Lalla Pierce is the proud sister and mother-in-law of United States Marines. Assistant Principal Michel Henry-Slater is the wife of a Retired U. S. Navy and U. S.     Meet Vinson


    Vinson is ready to be your military child’s first friend and “travel buddy” at Global Learning Academy. He will show your child(ren) around the school and help them to settle in. Current students of military families, like Vinson and other Global Ambassador Students, offer friendship, support, and practical tips on being a successful Global Learning Academy Explorer--with the support of our Guidance Counselor.
