PREVIOUS TO PARTICIPATION IN ATHLETICS, BAND, CLUBS, OR STUDENT GROUPS AT BOOKER T. WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL, EACH PARTICIPANT MUST:

    1.  Be enrolled at Booker T. Washington High School.

    2.  Beginning on Thursday, 6/1, Complete the "2023-24 Athletic Clearance Link" in its entirety at athleticclearance.com.  Select "Washington (Pensacola)" when selecting a school.  (See Link Box below)

-Any student wishing to purchase a BTWHS parking permit, join a club, be in ROTC, play in the band, or any other extracurricular activity, athlete or not, will need to add the appropriate sport or organization when creating a profile within athleticclearance.com.

    3.  (ATHLETES ONLY) Complete three National Federation of High Schools certifications using the link below.  Once completed, all certificates should be uploaded to the student athlete's profile within athleticclearance.com.  A screen shot from a phone, tablet, desktop, laptop, or any other means of evidencing completion (JPEG, PDF, etc) of the NFHS certifications are suitable to be uploaded to the student-athlete profile. NFHS certifications are required to be completed each year.  Certifications dated 6/1/2023 and later will count for the 2023-24 school year.

         -  Certifications to be completed are:

                - Concussion in Sports

                - Heat Related Illness

                - Sudden Cardiac Arrest

                - Locked out of your athleticclearance.com profile?  Email AD Coach Jade Brown at jbrown9@ecsdfl.us for help.

    - Any non-traditional (home school, private school, non-member school) student wishing to participate in athletics at Booker T. Washington should contact the Escambia County School District Office of School Choice to have Booker T. listed as a "secondary school".  Once that happens, contact the AD, Coach Jade Brown, at jbrown9@ecsdfl.us to complete all other required steps.  All "non-traditional" students are required to have completed all athletic processes within ten (10) days of the beginning of each semester to be considered eligible.
