Principal's Message 

Welcome Back, Pine Forest Eagles!
I am Mrs. Deborah Ray, proudly serving as the principal of Pine Forest High School. I am embarking on my third year as principal of this exceptional high school!  I believe strongly in providing equal opportunities for all students in a variety of academic settings. I’ve had the opportunity to assist with the district’s endeavor to enhance inclusive practices, ensure students have access to rigorous, enriched learning environments,  and increased graduation rates for all students. We will continue to carry on the mission to stand united for all students to succeed through our collaborative action steps and partnerships with community stakeholders. 

I taught special education for fourteen years. I have served as an instructional leader in the position of an assistant principal for four years and served in a district role for seven years, as the Deputy Director of Exceptional Student Education, and have served as principal for two years at Pine Forest High School. This has been the most rewarding position I have had the privilege to serve in. It  allows me to provide assurances to endorse high expectations and instructional practices for all students, nurture their academic and social-emotional needs, encourage parent participation, and promote an altruistic environment between school and community partners.

We are encouraged that the 2023-2024 school year will encompass academic triumphs, invigorating celebrations, career and technical advancements, as well as an emphasis on talented students and staff.
