Thinking about joining SGA for the 2024/2025 school year?

    What we do:

    • SGA organizes all Homecoming events. They take place at the beginning of the school year.

    • We are also in charge of our Spring Job Fair for our upperclassmen.

    • SGA is part of the Florida Association of Student Councils. FASC is an organization that brings together SGAs in our state and helps create strong leaders.

    • Blood drives and fundraising is done in order to raise money for SGA’s various activities.

    • We also offer many opportunities for community service hours.

    • We have eight committees that members are placed in at the beginning of the year. These committees are your main focus, but everyone helps other committees as needed.

At least one t-shirt will need to be purchased. This year we bought two and the total cost was $32.16.

Optional is a sweatshirt. The cost is roughly $30.

We have a possibility of three FASC district meeting field trips. The cost is $20 each. This year we went to two of the three.

The FASC state conference is not mandatory. It is a weekend field trip from Friday to Sunday. The cost of registration is $185 plus the cost of hotel and transportation. This year, we have eleven students going and due to fundraising, we are able to completely cover the cost.
