APPROVED CURRICULUM
Department of Health staff will provide instruction to students in select schools
on the following topics: 5210, and Handwashing. The materials have been
reviewed and approved by the District Health Services Coordinator, Martha Hanna RNCOVID-19 INFORMATION
Help Keep Your School Safe:Practice good hygiene
- Stop handshaking - use other non contact methods of greeting
- Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or use
hand sanitizer before meals, after using the restroom, and after coughing or sneezing - Create habits and reminders to avoid touching your face,
and to cover coughs and sneezes - Disinfect surfaces like doorknobs, tables desks and handrails regularly
Handle food carefully- Limit food sharing
Stay home if:- You are sick, particularly with a fever of 100.4 degrees or above
- You are instructed to stay home by your doctor or the Department of Health
