The Adult High School Program is for students aged 16 and older who have officially withdrawn from a traditional high school and want to earn a standard high school diploma.
Students complete only the credits they need and can study at their own pace, with support from certified teachers.

- Bring prior high school transcripts if enrolling from outside of Escambia County Public Schools.

Who Can Enroll?

✅ You must be 16 years or older and officially withdrawn from high school.
✅ You must have transcripts showing your previously earned credits
✅ You must take a placement test to determine your readiness.

To obtain a standard adult high school credit diploma, a student must earn the required 24 credits, successfully complete all state required assessments (Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test or a recognized concordant score as specified in Section 1008.24 (10), F.S., and/or End of Course Assessments), and have a grade point average (GPA) in accordance with State of Florida guidelines. A cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale is required for all adult education students.
