  • Admission Requirements

    To enroll in the Escambia County Adult Programs, the student must: 

    1. Be at least 16 years of age or older.
    2. Must have a parent or guardian if 16 or 17.
    3. Have a TABE score less than One (2) years old.
    4. Be officially withdrawn from the K-12 program.
    5. Complete a registration packet.
    6. Not be expelled from an educational institution.
    7. Provide necessary residency documentation.
    8. Pay the tuition fees ($30).
    9. Attend orientation prior to attending first class.

    To setup an account with GED go to:

    www.ged.com

    Choose a username and password.  This allows you to schedule your GED test, locations of testing centers, purchase practice tests, and obtain study tips.

    Official GED test costs $128

    • Reasoning through Language Arts - $32,
    • Mathematical Reasoning - $32
    • Science - $32,
    • Social Studies - $32

    Students must score at least 145 in all 4 test subjects to earn their GED credential.

    Upon passing ALL 4 GED PRACTICE TESTS with a score of 145 or better, GSTC will issue a GED Testing VOUCHER and will cover the costs of the real GED tests!  

    Teachers will assist students with this process.
