ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • We're thrilled to announce our new name: the STEM Partnership of Northwest Florida! We were formerly the Escambia County Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ECCTM), and we're now expanding to include all STEM educators and enthusiasts. Our mission is to empower K-12 STEM educators through collaboration, resource sharing, and community support, and to promote student engagement in extracurricular STEM activities. As a board member, you'll play a crucial role in bringing this mission to life, guiding our initiatives, and expanding our reach across Northwest Florida. For the 2025-2026 school year, annual membership dues will be $10. We'll begin collecting dues during the district in-service week.

    Your membership helps us continue to provide valuable resources for our math and science student events, as well as engaging events for our STEM community. We're thrilled to announce our preliminary event schedule for the upcoming school year:

    • How's it Going - Coffee & Networking: Thursday, September 18, 2025 ⋅ 2:15 – 5:30 PM at Coffee Guy Underground
    • Potluck in the Park: Saturday, November 8, 2025 ⋅ 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Bayview Park
    • Pi Day: Thursday, March 12, 2026 ⋅ 4:30 – 6:30 PM at Bubba's 33
    • Coasting into Summer: Friday, May 15, 2026 ⋅ 4:30 – 6:30 PM at Coastal County Brewery
    • The STEM Partnership of Northwest Florida will also sponsor the upcoming 2025-2026 Math and Science District Events.

    Board of Directors Positions Available
    The STEM Partnership of Northwest Florida is seeking dedicated and passionate educators to join our Executive Board. We're looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about STEM, committed to educational excellence, and eager to contribute their time and talent to our mission.
