Welcome to the Law Enforcement Academy! This program prepares students for work in the Law Enforcement profession. The content includes learning the laws, codes of ethics, search and seizure, communications and more.

Upon completion of the academy and state officer certification exam, you will be certified to work at law enforcement agencies across the state of Florida. Law Enforcement officers provide service and protection to the community in which they work. The academy gives an overview of the Law Enforcement profession.

This program is a disciplined, paramilitary academy which operates under the authority of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, and the Escambia County School District. The rules in this training course are more rigorous than most schools and colleges. The standards governing ethics and moral conduct are higher, and more is expected from students in order to prepare for a professional career in Law Enforcement.
