If you want to make change in our community—lasting change for individuals, families and the future of our entire community— you can start by partnering with us. We know our schools can’t do it alone and our purpose is to foster the investment and involvement it takes for every student to realize their full potential.
Supporting Public Education
The mission of the Escambia County Public Schools Foundation is to enhance education by investing in our children's future to ensure they graduate on time and are college or career ready.
Established in 1986, we are recognized as the district-wide education foundation for public schools in Escambia County. We work collaboratively with school leaders to determine how and where private-sector investment and volunteer involvement can have the greatest impact on student success.
Donations can enhance Grants for Excellence for schools, Golden Apple Awards Banquet for Teachers of the Year, Academic and MIRA Awards Ceremonies for outstanding students, or Take Stock in Children events and scholarships for deserving students.
As a member of the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations, we are part of a collegial community committed to building partnerships, innovating leading practices and impacting students coast to coast. Each year we have access to 1:1 matching funds from the State of Florida for contributions that support eligible classroom initiatives. Ask us for details about how to double your investment in our community's future!

We were presented with a check from Navy Federal Credit Union for $24,000. The proceeds came from Navy Federal Credit Union's Annual 5k, held on April 1st, 2023.
Thank you to all district employees and families that participated in this year's Navy Federal Credit Union's Annual 5k. It was a great success this past year and The Foundation has been named a recipient for next year's run. We are looking forward to this even next year!
