  • Our Mission

The Mission of the Escambia County Public Schools Foundation is to enhance education by investing in our students to ensure their success.

Established in 1986, we are recognized as the district-wide education foundation for public schools in Escambia County.  We work collaboratively with school leaders to determine how and where private-sector investment and volunteer involvement can have the greatest impact on student success.

Donations can enhance Grants for Excellence for schools, Golden Apple Awards Banquet for Teachers of the Year, Academic and MIRA Awards Ceremonies for outstanding students, or Take Stock in Children events and scholarships for deserving students.

As a member of the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations, we are part of a collegial community committed to building partnerships, innovating leading practices and impacting students coast to coast.  Each year we have access to 1:1 matching funds from the State of Florida for contributions that support eligible classroom initiatives. Ask us for details about how to double your investment in our community's future!
